Kendall Jenner Walks For Marc Jacobs

As if the excitement of Marc Jacobs closing out NYFW wasn't enough, Kendall Jenner walking for

him topped it off.  Kendall told Into The Gloss "I just recently turned 18, so this [Marc Jacobs show] is my big kick-off to start and grow my career.  The New York fashion scene is crazy, madness, but I love the energy.  I love everything about it-- like the hair and makeup today, it's incredible.  I've never had my eyebrows bleached; I don't even look like myself!"  Kendall did a great job and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for her.  ~J

Marc Jacobs Pop-Up Shop: Leave Your Money Home

During Fashion Week an extra special pop-up shop will be opening in Soho, The Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop.  At this particular store, no dollars will be needed so leave your cash at home.  How will you pay you ask.  You will pay by using your social media accounts.  Yes, you didn't read that incorrectly.  According to what I read, "transactions will be based solely on a customer's use of Twitter, Instagram and Facebook."  The hashtag that will be used is #MJDaisyChain. The shop will also be having competitions to increase the amount of social impact, where Marc Jacobs' accessories will be given away throughout the day.  A great point to note:  "The shoppers with the most creative posts will be entered to win larger-ticket fashion and accessory items."  For those of you lucky enough to check it out, the store is located in Soho at 462 West Broadway and opens on February 7th - February 9th.  The stores hours are 11-7.  Happy Tweeting everyone!   ~J

Miley And Marc For Spring 2014

Miley Cyrus will be the face for Marc Jacobs Spring/2014 advertising campaign.

Miley in the photos below is almost unrecognizable with her darkened hair.

As reported in WWD she was photographed by David Sims alongside models Natalie Westling and Esmerelda Seay Reynolds. Marc Jacobs describes the campaign as "sulky and broody." Of Cyrus, Jacobs said, "We all just love her and her entire being, her energy, her talent, her intelligence, everything. There's nothing I don't like about her. She is just genuine and very natural." 

**Although Miley has been everywhere lately and I haven't been a fan of her crazy tongue-swagging antics, I actually really like her in this Marc Jacobs campaign... Thoughts?  ~J

LOUIS VUITTON SPRING 2014

Did everyone see the Louis Vuitton show?  If you haven't yet, be sure to check it out~  It was AMAZING!! Think dark, black and theatrical. Marc Jacobs did not disappoint. He truly is a master at his craft! Enjoy!!! :-)
